    Thank you for this nice Howto. It is very well explained. I installed Firefox Nightly this way, yesterday and it works fine. With Iceweasel there were often heavy CPU-usage. This problem is now solved.

    Maybe.

I wouldn&#039;t invest any time on it, though. I don&#039;t really like PHP or working with phpBB at the code level in particular. It also seems a lot of effort (even before the implementation stage) for very little gain.

    can a mod be made for phpbb that detects likely WML and forces user to either use CODE tags or remove it? similar to the profanity filter.

    Oh you did it again, and in my opinion this joke never gets old &lt;img src=&quot;/dorset6/img/smilies/smile.gif&quot; alt=&quot;:)&quot; style=&quot;display: inline; vertical-align: bottom;&quot; class=&quot;emoticon&quot; /&gt;

My resolution:
screen #0:
  dimensions:    1280x800 pixels (339x212 millimeters)
  resolution:    96x96 dots per inch

Anyway, I&#039;ve started playing Invasion from the Unknown and After the Storm during the time when AtS was &quot;abandoned&quot; in 2010. Since then I&#039;m always excited to play new parts of the story. And I think I came to the point where I&#039;m more Excited about the conclusion of AtS than the new episodes of Doctor Who (And believe me, I&#039;m super excited about Doctor Who).

As a final thought: If for some reason you couldn&#039;t finish AtS as you planned, don&#039;t worry, we players, don&#039;t mind a little more wait. (This became a little bit longer than expected)

    Correct it does. However, I think it&#039;s a lot more useful to get 3rd parties to install a svnpubsub hook than an irker hook. There&#039;s certainly some value in what you&#039;re doing as an intermediate solution (or long term one for hosts that don&#039;t want to provide a better way).

    <content:encoded>
    That seems to require access to change the SVN repository hooks, though? The whole point of the irker-svnpoller pipeline is that it can be used with an existing configuration using mailing lists or other mail-based notification method.

    A better solution is to use svnpubsub and the irker bridge I wrote for it.

All of which can be found under the tools portion of the SVN code base:

    <author>nospam@example.com (shadowmaster)</author>
    <content:encoded>
    Yes. I have been watching his progress in #cia, in fact.

I’m currently rather skeptical about it since it’s more like a very basic IRC bot framework rather than a CIA replacement as previously advertised, but it could later become the cornerstone of something more elaborate.

For example:

https://github.com/nenolod/irker-cia-proxy

I can see that ESR’s goal here is decentralizing the IRC FOSS developers ecosystem, but I still have my reservations about the pros and cons.

From a more practical standpoint at this time, it depends on the adoption rate amongst code forges since they would not only have to provide irker [1] hooks for their hosted VCSes, but also an irker instance running on their own facilities unless people start setting up public irker servers with some kind of access control to avoid turning them into open IRC proxies.

[1] http://www.catb.org/~esr/irker/irker.html

But yeah, let’s see what happens next.
